Whaley Special Education Advocacy can provide you with a variety of services to help you navigate your Special Education journey:
Pre-Meeting Planning:
Help you organize your thoughts and draft paperwork,
Build confidence for student and family to decrease stress so you can advocate independently to secure appropriate support
Provide checklists and templates to help you prepare and take notes during IEP/504 meetings
Gather and organize data and help you build a record keeping system
Attend Meetings:
Be a support person and advocate
Take notes and document any agreements/disagreements
Help make space for guardian(s)/student to advocate
Review paperwork after meetings
Facilitate positive, problem-solving communication with the school
Draft/review emails
Prepare phone call scripts
Role play conversations
Classroom/School Observations
Describe IEP/504/Evaluations process including acronyms and timelines
Help explain Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
Spot issues and devise advocacy strategy
Brainstorm/make products to help with school-home connection:
Homework tips
Communication assistance
Visual schedules
Social stories

Client makes initial contact. Advocate sends out Client intake form.
Client fills out Client Intake Form.
Client gets free 45-minute consultation with Advocate to discuss concerns and issues.
If Advocate and Client decide to move forward, Client signs Agreement and pays $80 deposit. The first hour of services provided will be deducted from that deposit.
Then Services begin!
Services will be charged at the rate of $80 per hour.
All services rendered will be subject to fees and will be billed in 15-minute increments.
Payment may be made by cash, check, cash app, and venmo.
